We enjoyed having coffee every morning while looking out the large windows at the cherry blossum trees. Very nice location away from all the people in Kyoto. Easy 1hr bus ride into Kyoto city. " The location of the hotel is amazing, right next to a very popular photography spot in Gion. Because of this, expect some noises as there are always photographers outside around the clock. Washer dryer is really convenient. The rooms are very well maintained. Short walk to many stores and shops in Gion. "

"This place was way better than I was expecting. It is large and clean and very traditional and has great amenities like a washer dryer, a great bathroom and a nice upstairs. Just my wife and rented it but it could easily comfortably hold a family of 6. The people running it ere super nice and very responsive and helpful. I plan to stay there again!"
