"The location is very convenient via bus line and is beautiful. The hotel is traditional with tatami mats and futons. Food in the restaurant is also traditional. It’s good but not great and we found a really extraordinary restaurant down the hill. I expected trash service between the two days, which was kind of a big deal for our family. It was a great adventure, nice people, just maybe not totally for us."

"Great hotel to stay overnight at Gotemba. With access to the spa in the same building. Location is great and full of amenities. Only complaint is the in-house restaurant which offers buffet only and at a very high price. They used to offer great à la carte option, too bad that’s not available any more."
