"This was our first time staying here. We had a great experience and will definitely be back! The lady at the front desk was super helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and the AC worked great!
My favorite party though, was the private beach area which was just steps away from our room. All of this for a great value!"

The most beautiful property I've ever stayed at. Immaculate views and amazing staff who helped with everything from restaurant recommendations to helping us get bike rentals delivered to the hotel. Mike at the front desk made us feel like family. The sunsets and sunrises coming in from the floor to ceiling windows were the nicest I've ever seen. Couldn't recommend more.

The workers were excellent!! The food was excellent. The views were phenomenal. The Guanas are very friendly. Outside of the seaweed smell and pretty much no beach due to the seaweed, we had a great stay.

I recently stayed at this beautiful resort that offers exceptional service and a range of dining options. As a foodie, I tried most of the restaurants and found the meals to be good overall. The Lobster House was my favorite, as it served outstanding breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Kitchen Table offered a breakfast buffet with plenty of delicious options for everyone. Chez Isabella provided a great dinner experience, while Oregano's lunch menu hit the spot for me. Basmati had a nice ambiance,...

Beautiful property. The Belmond Maroma is a small hotel set in a lush tropical garden along the beach. The common areas are gorgeous and the rooms are private and quiet. There are several serene pools and great seating & umbrellas on the beach. The staff are wonderful - friendly and helpful. The breakfast is divine and dinners excellent. The only downside is the seaweed on the beach which is an issue all along the Yucatan coast. The hotel rakes the beach clean each morning.

We stayed at Secrets Maroma for 7 nights and to say we had a great time is an understatement! We did stay in the Perferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View, building 16, and the view of resort and ocean was great! This is a one of a kind, amazing experience. I strongly recommend adding on the “chocolate ceremony.” You make chocolate from cacao beans, start to finish. Elda and Julio are amazing hosts who make this an unforgettable experience.

Everyone from the front desk to the grounds keepers are polite and courteous. This is a SIX STAR resort. Two restaurants on property with a beach bar that serves food as well. My wife, & I stay at The Edition Riviera Maya this past weekend for her birthday. The property was gorgeous, although the weather wasn’t. Unfortunately, it’s still the end of the hurricane season in Mexico. Thank God, we did get some sunshine though. The place is gorgeous! Every single person was warm, & kind to us. The prices for food, & drinks were expensive, be prepared! I believe they also said that they were holding $450 a night on my credit card, which I thought was unusually high, but I...

This is a great, little resort.
The beach is, in my opinion, is one of the best in the area. It is white and powdery. The staff rakes it each morning so there are no rocks or debris. There could be more beach chairs, but the staff work very hard to assure that you get a chair.
My room was perfectly located within walking distance to the beach. I had a room directly above Rick’s bar and the adjoining pool, but never felt it was too loud.

Everything was amazing! The daily breakfast that was included was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend the French fries and guacamole pool side as well. Luis, our pool side attendant and Aram, our concierge, were top notch, along with everyone else that works there! Our only challenge was we weren’t aware it was a cashless resort, so we weren’t able to break our big bills for individual tips. We recommend you bring small bills ($1’s and $5’s) for tipping purposes!
