"Staff Not Trustworthy. My son and I stayed 3 nights. Unfortunately upon checking out I left a duffle bag on floor of the bathroom. When I realized this I immediately called the hotel. The front desk checked with house keeping but said they couldn’t find anything. I called 2 additional times and was met with the same results. Obviously someone is lying and I felt the front desk attendant didn’t want to work very hard to figure out what happened. We will not stay at Deer Haven Inn again. 7/17/2026"

"Such a warm welcome from Rishi - the proprietor! He literally said, "this is your home for the next few days." We stayed in the front room over the office. A spacious room with a superior bathroom & windows on three walls. We watched the sunset lounging in bed! And an 8 minute walk to the beautiful crashing waves & tide pools. Highly recommend!"

"I like the place and my room. It was a clean room, and the parking lot has enough space for the guests. My only complaint was a little bit of noise at night from those who come late. But overall, it's highly recommended for those people looking for a cheaper place to stay."
