"Breakfast was a bit shambolic. Scrambled egg, bacon, mushrooms and sausage for a cooked option is lacking somewhat. Even with such little hot selection it was rarely replenished meaning a wait. When the hotel is full, they'll never cope with thr size of the kitchen and the restaurant. That was the only disappointing thinking. Other than that, a faultless stay. "

"Absolutely beautiful location in the Douro Valley. The views from any location on the property are postcard views. The staff is very accommodating and attentive. Overall one of the most serene and tranquil places we visited in Portugal."
