"Excellent stay at the Porto River. The only mistake we made is NOT having them organize our taxi ride from the train. We took a taxi, but he wouldn't take us down to the river and we had to walk down the hill to the hotel. The hotel had offered, but we didn't think it was a big deal to have them order the taxi but it WAS. We had them order the taxi BACK to the station and it can come down to the entrance of the hotel so you don't have to lug your luggage!!! Otherwise, everything was great. ...

"My husband and I had a fabulous 4 night stay in one of the studio apartments. Check-in went very smoothly when the super friendly desk staff escorted us to the parking garage and then to our clean and beautifully decorated room. The breakfast staff, especially the handsome well-mannered servers, were attentive and friendly. The buffet breakfast was lovely and filling. What more could you ask for?"

"Great location. Close to the center and all attractions yet far enough to be quiet. Rooms were clean and AC was working great. We had a little terrace in the back which was nice to have. Parking can be difficult. We ended up finding a spot in the paid parking spot in front of the building and added E1.25 every two hours during the day so parking cost us E5 daily. Don’t need to pay anything between 5pm and 9am. You add money from the app so don’t need to be there either. Parking lots charge E50...

"Good location if you like a little walking. Close to great metro station. Restaurant really very good. Breakfast outstanding so much variety with excellent quality ingredients if you’re vegan not so good vegetarian good. The staff in the restaurant consistently helpful pleasant professional and never rushed at breakfast time or dinner. My friend and I enjoyed our stay here and if I come again I would happily stay here now I know how to get around."

"We had a room on the 13th floor with lovely views which was very clean. The beds were a little hard but the toiletries, robes and complimentary water was a bonus. Breakfast was great, plenty of options for all. We enjoyed the bar and sitting outside during the evening."
