"We brought my mom to Rome for the first time & she wanted to stay in a neighborhood versus the real touristy areas. This place is well taken care of & is just what she wanted. The neighborhood is peaceful with lots of local foods, groceries & coffee shops within walking distance. We walked from the villa to the Colosseum & around Rome. It's not real close but the beauty you see along the way is so worth it. Each bedroom has its own bathroom & AC, should you need it. I suspect the only complaint...

"Location is fairly close to the Vatican and public bus. Staff is very friendly and professional. Breakfast was superb. Only issue is the bathroom shower, extremely small and one of those acrylic type. Area is pretty noisy at night from cars and people talking at odd times of the night. Italy does not allow A/C to be turned on until like May so although they gave A/C in the bldg they could not turn it on. "

"The staff were very helpful and considerate, our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the dining facilities were fine - the food was excellent too. Only minor problem was that the shower doors had to be bolstered with towels as they had a tendency to let water escape out to the floor."
