"Large, clean apartment with beautiful back yard/terrace. Very close to ocean and cliff side walks. Hugo was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. Area is a bit far from old town, but we walked it multiple times. We wanted to be out of Funchal core for easier road trips to other areas of Madeira. Shopping and restaurants all near by. Totally enjoyed our trip and stay at Hugo's!"

"This hotel was amazing! The location was great, staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was really enjoyable, and overall a great hotel. The room I stayed in had an amazing corner view with views toward Funchal, the mountains, and the ocean. The room was very large and comfortable. Even though I did not get to enjoy it, there was also live music in the hotel’s bar area and two pools which looked very lovely. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I am in Madeira!"
