"Phenomenal place to stay. The staff, the pool, the restaurant are simply unrivaled. I had an issue with the sliding door not locking and they immediately fixed it. The maintenance guy even stopped by to ensure I knew how to use the new lock. Kudos to him and the rest of the staff for going above and beyond. I met a couple bartenders at the restaurant Timone, and Brian. Once again, top notch service and recommendations. I would recommend this location vs anywhere else in the area"

"Our overnight stay at the Hotel Indigo was fantastic. A family member had an early morning procedure at MUSC and it was super close to the hospital. The hotel was clean & beautiful, comfortable, and the front desk ladies were exceptional!! I gave the review 3 stars for the amenities solely because of our disappointing experience at the restaurant. The service was nonexistent. We arrived to the hotel around 6PM after driving for almost 2 hours. It was pouring rain, there were flooding advisories & we were not familiar with the area. We had to leave at 5:30AM to be at the hospital. Going to grab dinner was not ideal. After trying to find the restaurant phone number, I went down to the bar to place an order and wait on it. The bar staff never once acknowledged me and I never saw another waiter. I stood by the register at the bar, where 3 bartenders were back and forth. After a few minutes of standing there, another patron came up and asked if I was in line...I said yes. Again, the bartenders were right on the other side of the bar, using the register and serving other people. The bartenders came to her & helped her with what she needed, I assumed she was a regular and they knew what she needed. I was not addressed. I grabbed a menu from the bar near the register to look at it, and still I was never addressed. I tried to make eye contact indicating that I wanted to order. I ended up leaving without ever being spoken to. I'm hoping this is not always the experience."

"Location is convenient. 11 min ride to historic downtown, park in the streets for free. There is a Publix at a walking distance if needed. Not 5 stars because the room was shabby.
