"Great location - a short walk to the promenade by Green Point lighthouse. There is a hot breakfast which is delicious and made to order. The front terrace is a nice place to sit out in the evenings, and there is an honesty bar. Place feels secure with a member of staff always on duty by the front gate. "Exceeded our expectations, the photos are exactly what you get. We stayed in the 2 bedroom 3 bath apartment. the building felt very safe there was electronic access through the front door which also had securityguard at the front desk. Underground covered parking was great. "

"Check-in took 90 minutes. There was no internet as the data allotment had been used by someone else and management was unwilling to address this. Customer service was poor, with no return communication from the facility caretaker. Very tiny, old television. Mismatched and chipped crockery. Vintage appliances. Loose floor tiles. Shower require you to step very high and it a falling hazard. Large security deposit. Close to a grocery store and the beach. Hot water was good. "

After an initial problem with our room, we were instantly upgraded to a large room with a breathtaking view of Lion's Head and the sea. The staff at The Ritz are simply wonderful! "I was disappointed at the fact that...yes, i did mot understand the details of the bookings... but i was told to use the towels for the entire 3 nights or have them washed at the laundry across the road, at my cost. This treatment threw me off...."
