"Beach view Receptionist were warm and welcoming Good ambience Roof top is a 100/10 minus nothing! Was expecting house keeping to empty my bin, did not happen in time."

"We had a very enjoyable three days stay. We had a 'Signature Double' room which was large with a King bed and a very large bathroom with a sea view. The breakfast was very good. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the staff the same. They have a large car park. The hotel is just a short walk to the sea front."

"The location of the hotel and cleanliness was top notch. Even the breakfast and selection superb. But if you travelling by car & going to use the given harbour car park don't follow setnav nor the staff was useful in that case. It's just round the corner on the right next to premier inn. GPS takes you to a whole difficult route. Another aspect about the room that could have been useful if it had separate doors for the cupboard and toilet. It's difficult it you travelling with kids, someone has to be constantly behind them. Other than that it was a fabulous hotel with all local amenities just walking distance. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it."

"it's quite an old hotel so the rooms are a little dated, but our room was very clean and we got a bigger room than we booked. The staff were all very polite and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and the food was good quality. Lovely views from the hotel and really nice sitting outside. We had our dog with us and were able to access most areas with him. Makes a nice change from more modern hotels that lack any sort of character, we would certainly stay again"

Crofton House Hotel

"Once past the tired exterior, we were greeted by Hassan (site manager). He was very friendly and patient when guiding all nine of us through how to use the coded doors. He genuinely couldn‘t do enough for us over our week‘s stay, from providing extra tea/coffee to giving advice on local attractions and places to go. All five rooms booked were clean and comfortable. They had provided fans in every room before our arrival due to the current heat wave. The two pools were fantastic. The outdoor pool was open for use from Monday morning. It was plenty big enough to enjoy, and we all took advantage of it every day of our stay. Members of our family used the steam room, sauna, and pool table. Although they only sell a select few drinks, they are happy for you to have your own and provide an ice machine, which came in handy whilst sitting on the balcony enjoying the outdoor space and chatting till late. Even the local fox gave a brief appearance. Overall, we all had a great time and without a doubt we will be back next year."
