Over the past 5 years we have had occasion to stay at The Lodge many times and it never disappoints. In a word, the Lodge is comfortable. Everything is easy from the parking to the check in to the nice breakfast. The rooms allow for storing food you might have brought with you in a nice size fridge with a decent freezer area. The location is perfect - adjacent to the South Slope and just downhill from the heart of downtown Asheville. This is a beautiful and friendly property. The room was comfortable, everything (TV, bathroom facilities, etc.) worked, and the entire facility was very clean. During our visit, Hurricane Helene moved across the area, and the hotel lost power. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was safe. Exceptionally clean!

Very clean hotel.

This is our second time staying at the Village Hotel. We like how close it is to dining and activities, like the winery and the village. Parking is plentiful and free. The only thing I would change is that the Estate has a shuttle for Inn guests only, but I would make it available to all guests, because it literally drives right past the Village hotel with no one on it. The hotel was awesome. Highly recommend staying in a Cambria hotel if you are anywhere near one or planning a trip, it would be a great choice.

This hotel is amazing. This was my second stay and you can bet I will be returning again soon. The staff is attentive. The rooms are well thought out and unique. I love the robes and the bed and sheets are cozy. Afterglow has the best drinks I recommend the sunset dreams. I haven’t tried the restaurant yet and the rooftop bar wasn’t open on either of my visits but I can’t wait to try them. You can’t beat the location. Just a short walk to several restaurants, bars, and breweries.

The hotel and all staff from valet to reservations to housekeeping to concierge were absolutely amazing and some of the most attentive and friendliest I have visited with since COVID.

This is a beautiful property and so dog friendly! I loved it!

Solid location. No complaints. The reason I regularly choose Hampton is the consistency of service and facilities. I do hate how hotels no longer provide daily cleaning/refreshing -- it's a lazy by-product of CoVID. We pay daily rates -- we should get daily service.

It's a nice property. Room was clean. Not a fan of the homeless people, and drug use in the parking lot, but hotel is probably powerless against that.
