"The Rubens is a quintessentially British hotel in a convenient location close to Victoria Station. Cleanliness standards were high and although Rubens is an older hotel the furnishings are up to date and not at all worn. The staff are first-rate and are genuinely interested in making sure you are having a good stay. I highly recommend this hotel"

"This hotel is in easy walking distance of Victoria Rail Station and Coach Station. It does have a lift, but the lift doesn't serve every floor so if you have difficulty with stairs its best to advise the hotel when booking. The staff were very accommodating. The breakfast area is a little congested. Our room was very comfortable."
