Really loved this hotel. Great concept - very comfortable. I've never heard so many positive comments from guests checking out. Incredibly comfortable even despite the heatwave. Only issue was in the lobby. Hot weather seems to have dried out some of the sink drains so was a strong odor of sewer gases each evening. Got better as the evening went on.

Everything at The Windermere Hotel was excellent. All of the staff members were super friendly from the emails we exchanged prior to my arrival, to every time I was in and out of the hotel to the breakfast dining staff. My room was cozy and quiet and breakfast (which was included) I really enjoyed. The staff is really the key to this wonderful hotel. Very nice modern hotel. Breakfast buffet has to be one of the best I've ever had with tons of options. Tons of dinning options within few minutes walk and several convenience/ supermarkets if you need any essentials for your travel needs. About 4 minute walk to the Underground Tube station. Usually only took 10-15 minutes to get down to the river by the London Eye or Tower of London areas. Less than 1 hour to get to Heathrow on the train

Our flight landed earlier in the morning and they stored our luggage for us while we went sightseeing until check in. The staff helped us with transportation whether it was a taxi, or best route to somewhere with printed directions. Our room was clean and maintained daily!
