"Pros: Good location. Lots of restaurants near the hotel. A few minutes walk from Victoria Station and Victoria Coach Station. Walking distance to Buckingham Palace and other nearby sites. Rooms are clean and spacious. Cons: When we checked-in, we were given a complimentary upgrade to the Executive Room - 1 King bed and sofabed which we had thought was really nice of them. However, the bathroom shower was a disaster. There is a gap between the glass door and the shower wall which means when you are showering, water was leaking out from the side and pooling onto the bathroom floor. So much so, the bathroom floor towel was completely soaked and water was just pooling beyond the towel and around the toilet. We had to use the other towels to soak up all the water to dry the floor. The only good thing about that bathroom was that there was another shower in the tub. However, there was no shower curtain or glass door to stop the water from splashing onto the floor. There was only a narrow wall that was the length of the side of the sink. I guess that's better than nothing. If you stayed close to the wall, you can minimize the splash which we did. It wasn't too bad. It was late and we were only going to stay for another night, so we didn't bother asking to change rooms. If we had known earlier before unpacking, we would have changed rooms. I would avoid Room 142. We had stayed in the hotel previously in a Superior Room and we had no issues."

"Very very cosy double but ideal for a one night stay within a literal stones throw from Buckingham Palace. Comfy bed and tasty breakfast. Aircon worked well. The French bellman was extremely kind and helpful."

"What a lovely, immaculately clean, fresh smelling quiet hotel! I was very pleasantly surprised and won’t be spending money staying in ‘luxury’ hotels when visiting London again. Is that’s you thing, great, but this place is brilliant. It’s not fancy but if it’s friendlier than a Premier Inn IMHO. Front desk staff were wonderful- absolutely gentlemen, manners and true customer service - calm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely little continental breakfast was available which is just enough to take the edge off before exploring the city. We had room 606 - in the basement. It was a small room but the twin beds were comfy and the compact shower room perfectly functional (and immaculately clean). There was air on I. The room and it cooled down quite quickly one switched on. There is a very faint rumble from Victoria train station which is a touch louder in the shower room, but it’s hardly noticeable. There was a window in the room that opens but we chose to keep it closed as it looked out into a small service area and directly opposite another room. It was so warm in London we opted to keep the curtain closed anyway so this didn’t bother us or cause us any issues. All the staff were just so friendly and helpful from beginning to end. We stored our luggage without charge too! The hotel is a 10 min stroll to Pimlico/ Sloane Square/Buckingham Palace / Battersea."

"A last minute stay, for a really good price, so wasn’t expecting much. But done the job. An old format hotel with narrow staircases and compact rooms. But located really well and adequate to get your head down for the night. I was on the top floor, attic style room with a nice view over Belgravia. Hot, but had a fan. Shower door was trying to fall off, but other than that. Very satisfactory, would stay again."
