The Historic Grand Canyon Hotel

"This is the oldest hotel in Arizona and the facilities have been beautifully restored. Our room was small but very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful. The small town William is very nostalgic. We would stay again."

"When flooding caused many other hotels in the park to close, the Grand Canyon Inn was there for us. Their small staff worked as hard as they could to handle an influx of guests, and they kept smiling. We stayed in the main hotel, NOT in the annex, so we can't speak to that part of their accommodations. Was the peeled log furniture in our room dated? Oh heaven's yes. Very dated. But did that peeled log bedframe hold one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on in a hotel? Again yes! The room is not even close to deluxe, but it's clean and reasonably priced. The drapes are heavy and the area is super quiet so you can sleep. We also ate dinner in the restaurant where we had serviceable burgers and super friendly server who handled a rush of customers with energy and care."
