"We chose the Hotel Derby because it had received good reviews and it was in close proximity to the Zermatt railway station. As it turned out it was very cosy in a cabin style. We liked it a lot. Super hot bath. We ate there in the evening and received a 15% discount as a resident. We only had time for a quick breakfast in the morning but it was fine. My only criticism was with the pillow which I found to be too soft, but that is just a matter of preference. "

"The location was great. Close to the train station and the Main Street. Plenty of shops and food near by. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel is clean and so are the rooms. We stayed one night and found it to be perfect. They have a really good breakfast and it is staffed by a very sweet lady. I’d definitely stay there again and recommend it to a friend. The views are nice from the balcony and it’s off the main road in a courtyard which keeps the noise down. It has an elevator which is a plus. "
