"Room was really quirky and decorated well. Some cob webs on lights, windows and headboard had a bit of musty smell. Room got very warm at night, air conditioning wasn't great. Staff were excellent though, really helpful and cheerful. Food at the restaurant was fantastic too."

"Room was average. Clean. Shower was a good size. Could have done with a few hooks both in bathroom and room. However bed was so high, had to climb to get on to it. And pillows very thick. Just about managed two nights. Could not have handled a third night sleeping on them. Breakfast was ok, not great but filled a whole. Front of desk staff very knowledgeable and gave us good direction for places to eat out of the centre of Oxford. The maps they had for park and ride etc were handy. Average stay."

"We had an amazing stay at this well-provided for property. The location is amazing, a small village but incredibly close to amenities and great resutaurants nearby. And can't neglect to mention the peacocks! They were definitely one of the highlights of our stay, it was lovely to share coffee and breakfast every morning with these amazing visitors"
