However, do not go "off-season" as almost all the activities you go there for (fine food, wine tasting) was unavailable. They should just close the hotel off season to avoid disappointing guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and truly appreciated the helpful staff and especially the hotel managers suggestion of how to best experience a day in Venice (thank you so much Armando!). We also enjoyed the on site restaurant especially for the breakfast buffet. It was an amazing way to start our day before we went exploring. "Just got back after a 3 night stay at the Hotel Guerrato , when we arrived we were checked in promptly and luckily for us our room was ready! We had booked the attic room, which is lovely. It’s a lovely hotel and in a great area, close to the Rialto Mercato water bus stop and also the Rialto Brigde is 5 mins walk away! The breakfast is good, cereals, pastries and a limited hot selection, there is also a small selection of cooked meats."
