"We had to call everyday and ask for the fridge to be stocked towels and wash cloths food was less than mediocre. We were suppossed to get robes and slippers with the room we had to ask and the robes had no belts and the slippers looked used..there were not enough towels for the beach. Highly recommend you go somewhere else. Extremely disappointed stagf was unfriendly and really didn't care. Mirror in bathroom had black mold the frame "

"Clean room and great ambiance "

"Very clean, professional and friendly staff, and very responsive, family friendly pools, they have a small games room for tweens and teens for evenings. Beach is lovely, clean and smooth sand, although the current was too strong the week we were there so we couldn’t swim in the ocean. Buffet was very good for breakfast and lunch, but was repetitive and somewhat limited selection for dinners, Italian restaurant was excellent in food and service. Good Mexican performance show in evening. Great stay overall. "

"Front desk staff are rude and not accommodating "

"Check-in took about 45 minutes, which wasn’t ideal, but the trip improved after that. The waterslides were a huge hit and kept us entertained for hours each day. The zip line and rock wall were fun but only open 2–5 PM and limited to one turn per day. Our room was cleaned daily and the fridge restocked, which we appreciated. Food options kept us satisfied overall. Booking the specialty restaurants (5 options) wasn’t the smoothest process, but we were able to try most. The Fisherman’s was our favorite. The French restaurant is adults-only. Water access was a bit inconvenient once the bottled supply in the room ran out, you have to refill at bars or dispensers. My husband liked the Modelo in the fridge, but the draft beer at the bar tasted “stale.” The gym needs upgrades! Several machines were out of order and dumbbells only went up to 50 lbs. Beds were very firm, and the hot tub (adults-only area) was lukewarm. The beach was a highlight. The sand is soft, fun waves, and manageable seaweed. Overall, a great family trip with fun memories. Keep expectations realistic and you’ll enjoy it! "

"We had a great view of the ocean and the lagoon. The room was very clean! The food and drinks were amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We pent a lot of our time by the pool and beach. Overall I would highly recommend Secrets The Vine!!! "

"The rooms needs to be updated, curtains were broken, had to use my hair clip to keep the curtains close, sheets were stained, used the coffee maker in the room the first day but they did not refill the coffee anymore, had to keep calling to get clean towels. "

"Hard Rock Cancun is small but inviting. Service staff was great but stay clear of the pushy vacation planners staff. Evening dinners require a reservation so book your dinners for each night of your stay as soon as you arrive. Any of the restaurants can accommodate booking reservations for all restaurants. Stop by one and book for all the others for the stay. (Wish I would have known this ahead of time) Older resort with slow elevators. Pool area is nice but plan to get up early and go reserve your chairs. Great entertainment in the outdoor theater and fun entertainment and activities pool side throughout the day. Room service was handy but food wasn’t great. The hot tub in our room was disgusting and jets shot out rusty water but friends had a hot tub in their room that worked great so I guess we were just unfortunate. Overall stay was pleasant. "
