"Beware of the hill leading up to the entrance from Shinagawa station - it's not like SF hill, but, if you have luggage, understand that there is a walk, which your map app will show you and that much of that is an incline. (I saw quite a few other tourists trudging up the hill huffing and puffing wondering where the entrance was. The hotel has a beautiful buffet breakfast (and 2 other restaurant choices) so opt into the Breakfast included option. The property is clean, the lobby is spacious...
"My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa. It was spacious, amazing staff, conveniently located near the station and even had a 7-11 inside the building. Next time we are out I. Tokyo, we will definitely stay here again."
