"One night stay midweek - hotel was very quiet with a lovely pub garden. Main issues were the WiFi not working in my room (and I had no phone signal either), reception staff friendly and helpful but couldn’t fix the issue so that wasn’t ideal. The room wasn’t that clean - numerous dead spiders and flies on my carpet and a face full of cobweb when I walked in. I also think it’s cheeky that they charge £10 for overnight parking (with a card - not applepay!) although it is noted on Expedia it’s not...

"It was a family get together and I only needed a place to sleep, breakfast was a bonus. Not the best area of town but that didn’t matter, however I am disabled and staff did help with my stroller with the steep stairs. It was cheap and clean and it was very good for what I needed. There wasn’t a pool."

"If you want straight lines and new, this is not for you but. If you’re like us and like a really lovely experience in an old coaching inn you’ll love it here. The staff are fantastic Robert the owner great guy. The breakfast is to die for. On a warm night sitting in the courtyard amongst the greenery and when the lights come on it’s magical. Thank you so much guys you’re clientele were so nice to us to. This is a reflection of your hosting. Be back soon 👍👍 oh and buy the way the ale was good...
