"Before arriving the Email correspondence with the hotel reception was a quick response. My request to leave a note in 2 of our friends rooms who were celebrating their 60th birthday's was exceeded by the hotel leaving them a gift. From arrival to departure staff were friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble, they were also informative about the area. The hotel is a beautiful building that has been extensively restored and a new building in the grounds consists of bedrooms. The dining room is opulent, breakfast was plentiful. There's a well stocked bar where it was good to end the day with a night cap. "

"Staff were very attentive. The room was large & the chaise lounge was & beautiful addition. As for the bathroom the tiles nice touch not the standard. The colours of the hotel was not the standard beige which was good. For a city break I would stay again but when the weather is better as I'd like to use the roof terrace. "

"This is a charming hotel above a gourmet food and wine store. The rooms are extra large and well designed. Hot water and room thermostats worked perfectly The staff is amazing; very friendly and accommodating. They know you by name and greet you when you come in and say goodbye when you leave. The breakfasts are delicious, and you can prepay for breakfast or pay when you come. The location is close enough to the historic center about a 15 minute walk and fast enough away to be very quiet. I highly recommend."
