"We loved ur stay at the Ptarmigan. The staff were polite and helpful, the rooms were lovely and luxe and the restaurant had the hockey game on, which was great for us! The server was lovely, she had good recommendations and was always checking on us to see of we needed anything. The beds were excellent and plush, but also just firm enough. We would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!"

"My family have been coming here for over 15 years. We love where it is, often walking into town and back, beautiful. Wildlife outside the door, hot tub wonderful. Room was fab with full kitchen. Loft bedroom had its own bathroom so that was nice, I could do my makeup and hair in there haha. View was amazing. Indoor pool is refreshing in summer. Just a peaceful gorgeous place."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy, making it the perfect place to unwind. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained.
One of the highlights was the hot tub, which was absolutely perfect after a day of exploring. The mountain view was breathtaking and made the experience even more special. Waking up to such beautiful scenery was unforgettable. They also have free drop off and pick up to downtown Banff which makes it easier to roam around.

"We stayed in the suite with two separate bedroom areas and a kitchen in between. It's older property and long overdue for renovation which doesn't bother me but might bother some. There are no blackout curtains and the curtains barely covered the window so it's very bright in the morning. The staff tried to be helpful but when my neighbors were repeatedly noisy starting at 10:45 p.m. it took a lot of prompting for the front desk to ask them to be quiet. For three nights in a row."

"The room was very cozy and the claw foot bath welcome after a long travel day. We especially enjoyed the onsite restaurant that had tasty and interesting local food. On our last evening there the elk were feasting on the grass surrounding the lodge. Transportation by a short bus ride is very convenient to downtown Banff for those who don't have cars or don't want to conpete for parking in town. The lobby was very comfortable for our wait for our ride after check out."

"If you get a room that looks onto the bow river it is beautiful!
We had the other side that looked onto the construction sight that the hotel left us ear plugs and sound machine which was thoughtful of them.
Pool and hot top we had no indication from the booking was in another building that you entered in an underground parking lot and then went up to the pool. Very disappointing!!
Main plug used for coffee machine didn’t work , towel rack broken .
