Royal Canadian Lodge

"Our experience here was over and above what we were expecting. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful. From checking in to helping arrange tours to answering our questions. It really felt like they were making efforts to make our stay enjoyable. The room was really nice, quiet, unique and boutique like with pleasing decor, good drawer space in the bathroom, plush towels and a large tiled shower with both a rain and removable shower head. The food in the restaurant was honestly delicious. We had the lamb shank and salmon the first night we were there and the quality of the food was like fine dining. Every element of the breakfast was really delicious as well right down to the potatoes. My husband can't eat dairy and they had lots of dairy free options (including lattes etc.) Staying here really made our experience of Banff so much better. We highly recommend it!"

"Property is new and well maintained. The woodwork in the rooms is beautiful. The desk staff spoke and smiled everytime l walked past. They are very knowledgeable and helpful about the excursions around the area, restaurants, shops..etc."

"The staff were lovely. The room was full of cobwebs and dust the light fixtures had flies/ other bugs in them. 3 light switches didn’t do anything the outside light fixture was crooked and the top railing part came off. The dishes were put away dirty with grime on the silverware and plates. The hot tub was more warm than anything. The jets in the hot tub were barely noticeable. The sauna was out of order. There was a lot of sediment in the bottom of both of the pools. The bus was awesome. The views were awesome."
