"This is cozy, modest, vintage, clean, fun, etc. etc. Really I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay at in the mountains. The wood fireplace with access to wood was lovely. Of course, and most importantly, we cooked! Full kitchen = great and healthy food. I would always come back here. My son also enjoyed the water slides more than I expected. Note: I imagine if you are a 'top shelf' type of person or like the fancier things in life, this is not for you. "

For an old hotel, they have done a great job updating the rooms - price is reasonable. Only thing missing is a good restaurant (current one sits below the lobby and is like a cave. "
