"I had a very good stay at the Crazy Bear Hotel. The decoration is truly impressive – bold, unique, and full of character. I stayed in the “Decadence” room, which I really enjoyed. It’s a very particular kind of hotel – you know what you’re getting into, so I find it a bit unfair when people complain about the décor. If you’re after a standard, conventional hotel, this might not be the right choice. But if you’re looking for something distinctive, it’s a great experience. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly, and both dinner and breakfasts were excellent."

"We stayed for 2 nights and it was lovely. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our little one. Dinesh and Karim especially stood out through our interactions and from little things like holding the door open while we entered to assisting us to use the kitchen microwave and freezer, no request was too big and was always met with a smile. The breakfast spread was lovely. As someone who prefers alternatives to an English breakfast, the omelette made to order was a welcome change. The rooms were clean and the bathroom spotless. Huge win in my book. "

"it was a stop before a cycling event - £80 - really just needed a bed loo and shower. My one worry was that it was hot - and if there was no cooling in the room could have been a sweat box - in reality there was air con in the room ( not advertised ) so it was perfect. I was off early biy this is tucked in as part of a services - so all sorts of food coffee restaurants. Its not pretty rooms are small - but if you just want to get your head down its perfect. We tool our own milk mugs and coffee tea - there are no kettles in the rooms - but there is a communal space with coffee tea, sugar and hot water - tucked away in a cupboard near reception. But you could nip out to the outlets next door if you wanted to. "
