"What a hotel! Beautiful scenery, located on the golf course and over looking the sea. The hotel was very clean and staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel is walkable from the train station; however, I’d recommend booking a taxi in advance. Taxis in the town are very hard to come by. Hotel staff was very helpful is booking a taxi for us to return to the station. Bikes are available at the hotel to take into town which is very convenient. Hotel breakfast was fantastic."

"Absolutely superb hotel, stunning interior, fitting modern amenities in with the historic interior design. Excellent on site restaurant with the exceptional waiter. The food was excellent especially the venison casserole with broccoli and then the chocolate chilli for dessert 🍨. Not forgetting the superb breakfast."

"The rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. Our group of 4 had excellent service and a great breakfast. We only stayed one night and wish we could have be there multiple days. The location was very convenient to explore Dunbar by foot. Would highly recommend this hotel to others."

"The property is situated near North Berwick and has beautiful gardens. The building itself is a bit tired. Our room was disappointing for the grade of hotel. Coffee facilities were basis (one packet of two pieces of shortbread to share!). The cooked breakfast was lovely but the continental selection was very poor compared to similar hotels and given that one of the main selling points of the hotel is the Chez Roux restaurant. Cleanliness not what we would have expected either - some litter...

"Staff wonderful and great breakfast included. Wireless was spotty. Kitchen odors /noise was in my room- but I had the least expensive single in the back of a dark hallway. Bed comfy!!"

"I liked the room food and mini fridge options for breakfast and snacks. Suited my early departure plan. Also I was able to put my bike inside at reception ground level., since it’s a small on street building. The room was functional but the sink had a slight smell which would be good to investigate. Great position."

"Good location and rooms good side with filter coffee and chocolate bars available. Breakfast was also really good along with ample parking. Check in was a bit odd with rooms and building unlocked and no food served on Tuesdays. Side saves were also dusty and staff unsure if breakfast was included which delayed my departure."

"Whilst this hotel was lovely it says there is car parking it is actually on the street parking if your lucky enough to get a space. It is also opposite a tower çlock that goes off every hour even through the night."
