Our family of 4, 2 adults plus teenage boy and girl picked this unique place to stay for several days after researching over 200 different places. Were very glad we stayed here. We were brought by water taxi from the airport right to the front door dock and stored our luggage while the apartment was being readied. Beautiful older hotel perfect fit for Venice. Very clean and timeless hotel. Excellent service. Excellent breakfast. Right in the shopping area of Venice and close walk to St.Marks Square. Nice amenities including: Spa for an additional charge. Boat taxi service provided by the hotel. Bar on site. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for one week in July. The hotel is perfectly located in Dorsorduro, away from the crowds yet close to two vaporetto stops (Accademia and Zattere) and to the Accademia Gallery and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Spent 4 nights in this beautiful unique hotel. It’s more like staying in someone’s mansion. Built in 1400 and decorated to give you a touch of the era without over doing it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Helped us book cabs and tips on restaurants and nearby beaches. Breakfast in the morning was very good and it is served outside in their courtyard. Very quiet room and comfortable bed. I highly recommend staying here.

We were very pleased with this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and are defiantly glad we did. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The room we had was great and the hotel staff were amazing and never hesitated to help us with anything we needed! It's also in a great location for to get to anything. Definitely recommend!

If you have an early flight departing Marco Polo Airport, staying at this hotel is the way to go. This is my second stay in the past three months; and they did not disappoint! With their extensive shuttle service that operates from 04:40 until midnight, no worries about getting to the airport on time. This service is only 5 euros per person. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

The hotel and the grounds and the whole facility are spectacular but the staff is what made it so special. Sara who helps manage the Villas was a dream and went out of her way to make our visit magical. The pool staff at the Adult pool was so kind and just wanted everyone to have the best time. Such a great place to visit.

The room was beautiful with a lot of character. It was conveniently located near the Grand Canal (5 min walk to water bus), and under 10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel is very close to the main train station of Quatro D'Altino. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from that train station to main Venezia St Lucia and also provides the train tickets (Return trips) all for a total of 20 Euro's for 2 people. This is a small hotel in a prime location. It is convenient to the #1 vaporetto, and a five min walk to San Marco's (and the main lines). Excellent free breakfast in the morning. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. It is quiet, comfortable, and I would absolutely stay there again.

I traveled solo for the first time in Aug2021 unsure what to expect. Hotel Savoia & Jolanda exceed my expectations. It was worth the cost. My flight came in late and I was worried about transportation. The front desk clerk was able to walk me through how to purchase the ticket for transportation and saved me from purchasing private transportation. When I arrived my room was clean and ready. Arriving at Hotel Metropole is like traveling back in time to 1800s Venice in terms of the classic decor, but right up-to-date in terms of the fluffy towels, silky linens and rain-head showers. With a boat ticket valid for the number of days of your stay, it is a perfect location if you like to travel by boat. The trip to Venice takes apprx. 15 min.
