"Lovely historic building with nice rooms and attractive grounds. Some of the staff are very good while others are not of the standard you would expect for a hotel with this star rating. Food was ok in the estate restaurant but at the upper end of pricing for the quality of food and wine available "

"All good, except bathroom fan runs permanently, even when light turned off, mentioned this to staff and was informed this is the case in all rooms, a bit annoying, but not drastic, still clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Parking overnight is expensive however, but Egham isn't a massive town and you can probably find a side street fairly nearby for free."

"The free breakfast had a large, diverse selection of food including gluten free products. The hotel's location was a short distance from the tube and several major bus lines so getting around the city was very convenient. The room was comfortable with an area to hang clothes but only one drawer for other clothing. The room was not large, but that's not important to me because when on vacation, I use the room for sleeping and not much more. The shower was good size with great overhead rain capability. I would stay at Riu Plaza again. "
