"Very clean, modern and fun room design, my daughter loved the bunk beds! The pool and other amenities like the barbeques were great! Staff were super friendly and the hotel was right on the beach. Close to Fort Myers for entertainment but in a more peaceful, exclusive spot with a nicer beach, perfect for families."

"Clean and modern apartment and we stayed on first floor. Walking distance to beach with hot tub and pool. Not really walking distance to bars/restaurants so probably best to have a car. Worth the price."

Lani Kai Beachfront Resort

4/10 Poor

"Lani Kai RESORT? The property oldest, most dated on FMB … rooms have free standing dehumidifier which needs emptying daily - but they are happy to show you how to do it yourself - everything from towels to your clothes will always feel wet. Beds are beyond old and uncomfortable, old linens match the quality. Rooms are smaller, furnishings cheaper than appear in pictures. There is also a framed document itemizing every thing in the room and the charge you can expect for each missing - what kind of hotel does that? An itemized list? Isolated, small pool out front basically in the parking lot … Music on BLAST from 10-10 daily, speakers within feet of rooms… not going to be hearing sound of waves sitting on the balcony sitting on the cheap plastic chair. The doors slamming, walls are thin, partying kids pick it up after 10 - it is ‘advertised’ as a lively atmosphere = constant noise. Street traffic adds another level and rooms on the north side get the music from across the street on one side and LaniKai DJ tunes from the bar on the beach side of the room. May not be in the room during the day but at night you’ll be wishing you weren’t. ‘Get what you pay for …. At this place you’ll get less - it’s not a bargain and it’s not a ‘resort’."

"Unfortunately, due to other circumstances, I was not able to go on the trip and had to cancel. The host did an excellent job of keeping posted about other balcony construction taking place long before I could check in and was fully understanding if I had to cancel at the time. Because of the owner's diligence in keeping me posted, I will do my best to schedule another visit to the condo location. Great job! The pictures of the condo unit / beach / location grounds were excellent."

"This place goes above and beyond when it comes to service. They did their best to get us in early when we arrived. On our last day we had a late flight and they allowed us to stay on site and use their facilities until we left mid afternoon. They supply chairs, umbrella's and towels for the beach. No need to rent or buy anything. They also have two brand new grills on their beach patio so you can grill your own lunch without having to leave. And they have a nice cabana to eat it under. They supply margarita's all day which is fantastic. They were extremely accommodating. I'd definitely do an ocean front room. The balconies are screened in so a great view and no bugs. The room was spacious with a full kitchen to make breakfast. The bathroom was really big. Plenty of space to store you clothes. The property is clean and well maintained but it is older. So there are things that aren't perfect but its hardly noticed. You are right on the beach and at the right end of town where its quiet. We had the beach to ourselves most of the day while further down in either direction it was packed. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the restaurants so you can just leave your car. If I ever go back I'm definitely staying here again. You get more than you money's worth."
