"I could not fault the staff for service in The Sanderson. Check-In with Emily was so professional and friendly. The Breakfast Room Manager (apologises I do not know his name) was so efficient and service was impeccable with a genuine smile. After I had checked out of the hotel and arrived at Gatwick Airport 2 hours later I remembered I had not emptied the bedroom safe and I had left a pouch with valuable jewellery in the safe. "Our initial family room was too small to fit the pull out couch and suitcases. There were no lamps or decorative comforter/pillows on the bed. We found some crumbs and a stain on the bed. Unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. The manager switched our room which is why we realized the room wasn’t even decorated properly. We were very disappointed with our initial experience."
