"Keep your money look somewhere else before booking there !! This place is a joke I had a terrible experience at Royalton Splash Cancun and would not recommend it to anyone. The food situation alone was unacceptable. I was served a raw hamburger, which is completely unacceptable for any resort, especially one that claims to be high-end. To make things worse, the pizza place kept running out of cheese, and the burger station ran out of fries—how does a burger place run out of fries? The bar wasn’t any better. They didn’t even have mint for mojitos, one of the most basic cocktails you’d expect at a resort in Cancun. Service across the board was horrible. Every request felt like a burden. The staff constantly said “no” to simple things, and the overall attitude was rude and unwelcoming. It honestly felt like the employees were miserable and didn’t want to be there. The pool area was chaotic. Getting a chair felt like competing in a daycare—people scrambling and fighting over spots first thing in the morning. Even the ice cream stand couldn’t keep up—they ran out of cones, which just added to the frustration. Overall, this resort was disorganized, poorly managed, and far from the luxury experience it promises. Definitely not worth the money."

"This was our second stay at the end of the week of our vacation. It was a different experience being in an older room. Was okay, comfortable and satisfactorily clean. Breakfast was good. Airport shuttle to the airport was extremely helpful and appreciated. We will stay here again. "

"Great place to stay for a smaller and quieter resort. Seemed to be a slightly older crowd for more mid 30’s and up. The staff are very friendly and helpful and can’t say enough about the entertainment team (Angel, Mar, Johny and Rubi). The buffet (Flavours) had okay food choices but the fresh made omelettes and tacos were good. The room (we had a junior partial ocean view suite) was good and the view was good. Friends had issues with a musty smell but we didn’t notice as much. All the restaurants were great and relatively accommodating for reservations. The housekeeping was one drawback. The mini fridge wouldn’t be restocked properly and our room door would not shut properly unless pulled closed. Overall would stay there again"

"We stayed at Avani only one night since we arrived in Cancun late from our flight. After renting our car at the airport, we parked in their free parking under the hotel. Check-in was easy. They have a restaurant and a bar. Our room was on the third floor and it was modern and clean. Good water pressure in the shower and the bed was pretty good. One side had a bit of a dip. Easy checkout the next morning. It’s also walking distance to shops and food options, which is convenient. We did not try any of their amenities, except we did order the fajitas from room service and they were pretty good. "

"Great hotel, we loved it! Just wish that they would fill our shampoo, conditioner and body wash more often as we would realize in the shower that it was out. This happened twice and that was annoying as you are mid shower, need to get out and call the front desk, and then wait until they came to tip them up. "
