"Stayed one night and a traditional Japanese room. The room was spacious (for Japanese standards) and clean. Balcony with View and sounds of the rushing river. The highlight of the hotel is definitely the onsen. Multiple indoor and outdoor bathing/soaking opportunities. We spent time in both public and private sections. Private was ¥2000 for 45 minutes. Also, a dry sauna, relaxing room, and massage chairs. Very helpful staff who gave a restaurant recommendation – – which was one of our favorite restaurants in all of Japan."

The free shuttle service between the hotel and Odawara, Sounzan, and Gora stations were so convenient. The hotel room was big and beautiful. Beds were comfortable. "Great location, nice view of fuji-san, nice garden and trail at the back, nice breakfast with a lot of choice. The fact the rooms had some older furniture was fine since it was according to price. Easier control of hot water in the shower would be better."
