"The staff, especially Louisa, were so helpful and charming. Nothing was too much trouble and all done with a smile. Irene was great at breakfast - very efficient. Fantastic location in the heart of the Old Quarter. The rooftop bar is an oasis when you want a break from the hurly-burly. The rooms are great: extremely comfortable. Highly recommend. 10/10"

"Easy to please Solo-traveler. I booked a Luxury Suite at the Peridot for 4 nights in August and the room was clean and had no noticeable issues as far as I was concerned. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Hot/cold water may be a problem for some, but not for me. Remember, you are in Vietnam! Location is placed nicely as well. There is a Circle K just across the intersection for your basic needs. Plenty of places to grab a bite or drink within short walking distance and the traffic in the immediate vicinity is easy to get around. The breakfast and dinner dining experience is similar to fine dining and I was never disappointed. Menu is a mix of local and Western cuisine. The wait staff is very attentive and service was fast. I did not utilize the spa/pool, but I did spend quite a bit of time at the bar on the 12th floor and the service was awesome! I enjoyed my time spent with the bar staff. The views from the balconies are a nice touch although the plants can use a bit of trimming. I would highly recommend the Peridot Classic Hotel to anyone who is looking for a clean hotel with all the amenities that a solo/couple traveler may want/need."
