"This is really something to be experienced. It is new (2023) and massive - hundreds and hundreds of guests. It is a spa, first and foremost. The rooms are huge, quiet, and elegant; the numerous staff are efficient and multi-lingual. "We loved our stay at Pumping Surf. The hosts were incredibly kind and picked us up from the train and took us out to a local spot for udon. We were easily able to rent a surfboard and walk to the beach. Being able to use the bicycles was also a huge plus so that we could get into town to buy groceries and have lunch. I would definitely recommend staying! "
