"I would say that the only inconvenience was the kids bed. We already knew what to expect but would be something good to have some room with at least 2 full bed. The sofa bed is not the best but our kid did not mention anything but I would not have liked it to sleep a whole week on that myself. Also they try to get you into a timeshare presentation. Expect that. The rest is super good! Would recommend."

"We were three families in three rooms. We each had a penthouse room. We would all return to this resort. We had one problem and high spots: Problem: Family penthouse room had two A/C units that barely kept the room below 80F/27C. Staff couldn’t repair the A/C units so one family had to change rooms. High spots: 1) Hector at the El Templo restaurant is a good cook and entertainer. Worked hard to keep everyone engaged while he cooked up a tasty meal. 2) Fanny, Rafael and Kevin helped make our son’s birthday celebration exceptional and a very memorable event. 3) Jorge the bellman somehow remembered us and in which building we were staying. He is a hard worker, friendly and a friend. 4) The concierge team - they smoothed out some minor issues with our reservations and other issues. Made minor problems, non-problems. 5) Our room was kept clean, tidy and the minibar was stocked daily. Some helpful notes: 1) Be careful what you leave on the balconies. This is an eco resort and the monkeys are curious. Similarly, the coates (Mexican raccoons) will go through your belongings if you have food in them. 2) All the staff, from groundskeepers to housekeepers to wait staff were friendly and helpful. 3) In several areas, the buffet out shown the specialty restaurants. Skip the buffet lines for breakfast and go to La Toscana. 4) The evening shows are nice. Get there early for a good seat. The Friday evening street market is nice, too, with good street food."

"Five-Star Family Vacation Experience! Our family had the most amazing stay at this resort! The rooms were absolutely spotless, and the layout was perfect for traveling with kids. What We Loved: The Water Park & Pool: The kids' water park is incredible and kept them entertained for hours. The swim-up bar was a major highlight for the adults! The Food: The buffet offered excellent food with plenty of variety. Most of the reservation-only restaurants served outstanding meals (though we found the French restaurant to be just okay compared to how amazing the others were).The Entertainment: The nightly live shows and music were spectacular. They put on high-quality entertainment every single night that our whole family loved. Special Thanks to the Incredible Staff: The warm welcome we received from the staff truly made our trip unforgettable. We want to give a special shout-out to: Kids Club: Betty, Ale, Adri, Ruben, and Kinyi (the DJ)—thank you for keeping the kids so happy and engaged! Front Desk: Wilson, thank you for your wonderful assistance. Lobby: David and Samuel, thank you for always greeting us with a smile and a happy attitude. "Amazing resort! The staff members were so helpful, nice and honestly went above n beyond during our stay. We had an issue regarding with our reservation restaurant and they so kindly let us reschedule it with no issues. We stayed in the el beso resort mind you this resort is a combine stay with family, privilege, and el beso members. We just have our own building and own pool bar. If you are expecting 0 kids that’s not here. However we didn’t notice an issue with it the resort was big enough you didn’t even notice it. They do have a breakfast option only for el beso members (no kids) and I believe dinner too there. Keep in mind all restaurants have a dress code they weren’t strict on it however they did turn people away when coming to lunch in swim suits. There’s a moment around 3:30-5:30 (unless Route 66 is closed then 6:30) so bring nice closes for all eating options only laid paid is the buffet for breakfast."

"Outstanding food, friendly staff, well maintained and a beautiful location. Only minus is that the property's beach doesn't have that crystal clear blue water due to the seaweed. But you can leave on snorkeling outings or rent jet skis. The multiple pools and restaurants were so nice that it didn't matter. We would go back again. Traveled with a 4 year old and 15 month old. And they had a great time."
