"A wonderful, clean hotel, with great AC, and very helpful staff! The location is excellent for train and bus travel, and our room was even nicer than I expected! Our only challenge was that the shower was set up such that you couldn't help but get water all over the bathroom floor each time someone used it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!"

"The staff were very accommodating and arranged for a water taxi to pick us up at the cruise terminal. They also stored our luggage as we had an early arrival and gave us a GREAT room with a wonderful outdoor terrace with a view onto the Grand Canal. They made a dinner recommendation and made a reservation for us. They also arranged for a water taxi for us to the airport for our departure. We truly enjoyed every part of our one night stay!"

"Hotel Abbazia was a gem—super conveniently located to public transportation (railway station and Piazzale Roma) and the Grand Canal but set back on a quiet side street. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. Room was great—comfortable bed, effective AC, reasonably priced."

"Old world charm with modern amenities like private baths and a lovely breakfast included. It was the perfect send off having coffee on the Grand Canal. Staff was friendly and polite. I did ask about airport transfer and was only given two pricy options, I would also have appreciated something along the lines of "...also the bus station is a less than 10 minute walk with an express bus." That is my only ding...but I get it and it's more a buyer beware comment. I was there one night and I really loved the space and Venice!"
