"Do the employees sleep? The ladies that checked us in during the evening were the same ones serving the guests breakfast! Not only that but they were beyond amazing at both! The hotel is a bridge away from the train station, so an easy 5 minute walk. It is also 5 minutes to the main bus/taxi area to and from the airport. There are lots of hotels in Venice but when we come back we will be staying here again! "

"The hotel was on the canal which made it easy for water taxi. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and classy although a little small. The location is a 20 minute plus walk to St Marks Square, but that is probably a good thing since it's much quieter here. Close to bridge to train station where Venetian commuters come and go. I would stay again if back in Venice."

"My spouse and I stayed here, and we liked it quite a bit. I thought it was a nice quiet area and it’s really close to the water bus system to get around which is nice. There are a lot of beds and places to sleep, much suited for a family or group of friends. The only thing I was not a fan of was that there is NOT a bath tub as listed, but rather two showers in separate bathrooms. They recently renovated, separating the one into two. Great for some, we just didn’t need that."

"The location of this hotel is perfect…close enough to walk to everything but away from the biggest crowds. There is a wooden patio facing The Grand Canal…perfect to sit and watch the boats and gondolas. The staff couldn’t have been any nicer or accommodating. Nothing was a problem…gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and sites..arranged our water taxi upon check out to get us to the train station. We took advantage of the in hotel breakfast every morning..wonderful selection of...

"It was clean and you could tell they tried to keep it up. The beds were not very comfortable. The air conditioning left a lot to be desired. But it was a quaint older building with a nice view. Friendly helpful staff."

"Hotel was built in 1500 so it has minor issues.Breakfast included was very good. There are no vehicles in Venice so all transport is by water or walking. No bicycles or scooters allowed. Beds were comfy and elevator worked most times. Note...High tides affect elevator operation. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable."

"Beautiful 17th century apartment.... unfortunately a 12th century mattress ugh 😑. This hotel is in a beautiful location but let me tell you one thing: Do. Not. Stay. Here. We waited almost an hour for check in outside in the 30° weather and that was the best thing that happened. We quickly discovered that spiders, flies and other insects were plentiful in the apartment. Spider webs in all the windows, spiders in the shower and kitchen. The shower was horrible and your options for water...
