"The hotel and the staff are great. Being connected to train station is ultra convenient. The only negative was the washer/dryer combo. Does not fully dry clothes. I work in laundry so I know exactly how much should into a washer/dryer to make it work properly. Other than they beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, and great location."

"The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and easy to walk around with great breakfast buffet. There are a few odd design issues with the room such as can’t find a suitable place to plug in water heater and the bedside lamp. The only room lighting control is in the middle of the headboard."

"Excellent location nearby the central Kyoto station and a bunch of stores and restaurants around the area. The room and the bathroom is tight but works well. The Hotel is like express Hotel just to spend a few nights. The breakfast is so so, a lot of japanese food and a some ocidental options (my case) I take it by convenience to have it in the Hotel but I dont know if worth it. If you find a good location near by may be a better option if you are ocidental person. Laundry in the Hotel Helps."

"Check in was fast!! The staff are all SO helpful and nice!! Breakfast is wonderful!! With more great and helpful staff there. Room was clean and loved the balcony first thing every morning. Thank you for the water for coffee and tea in the mornings before breakfast. This was very important for us. We already miss Rihga Gran Kyoto!!"
