TOOR Hotel Toronto, part of JdV by Hyatt

"TOOR Hotel is a newer Hyatt property (Part of their JDV brand) on Jarvis Street. We usually stay at the Andorre, (another fantastic Hyatt property located at Young and Bloor), but it was booked so I chose the TOOR instead as I trust the Hyatt brand. This hotel has a super convenient location with an easy walk to St. Lawrence Market, Eaton Centre, the Theatre District, Queen Street and Massey Hall. The rooms are on the small side, but they’re modern, thoughtfully designed, and make smart use of the space. Everything was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed the view! To add to an already great stay, we had a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant , Muse Bistro and Bar. It’s a concise French-inspired menu and their cocktails are creative (try the Tahini Sesame Old Fashioned). I highly recommend the steak tartare followed by their truffle pasta. Arturo, our server, was amazing—friendly, attentive, and a real highlight of the evening. He made an already great dinner even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!"
