"The Hyatt is our preferred hotel in Birmingham. For us the location is excellent. The staff are mostly helpful. It went through a bad stage a while ago but has vastly improved recently. Room size is good. The bathrooms are a little dated. The view from the rooms is superb and we always pay more for a room on a high floor. The breakfast has long been excellent. The staff are now also excellent. Not so great they have removed berries from the buffet, however when we mentioned it they said we only...

"Good hotel at reasonable price just outside city centre. Large comfortable and clean bedroom with good facilities. Very good cooked and continental breakfast. Only downside was the hotel has no lift and quite a long walk from reception to bedroom up stairs and winding corridors. We did get lost on one occasion "

"Lovely overnight stay in a clean and stylish room with a comfortable firm bed. Was able to sleep well despite being right near a busy main road, good soundproofing. Breakfast was a delicious and extensive buffet style with a nice range of options. The whole atmosphere was calm and trendy, with a convenient location for our stay. There were a few little odd issues like some lift buttons being damaged and TV being a bit temperamental. Could do with a little TLC in that respect but it didn't stop...

"I’ve stayed here a few times now. It’s always a pleasure. Check in is fast, efficient and easy and they really do only take payment on arrival if opting for that option. So many places don’t making budgeting or bank rolling business trips difficult. Staff are always friendly and helpful, letting me check in early (when possible) at no extra cost. Location is great. Close to train station and shopping centres and there’s a Tesco express near by for essentials. "
