"The staff was very nice and very friendly and helpful as they all are in Japan. The location of the hotel is very central so we were able to go into different directions for a lot of the tourist attractions that we wanted to hit. The area is safe and quiet and peaceful and right across from the imperial Palace. I liked everything about this hotel, except The pillows The pillows in many hotels in Japan feel like you are sleeping on padded bricks. I am not exaggerating, and I mentioned it to the gentleman in the front desk and he recommended that I wrap the padded bricks with bath towels. Now they felt like padded bricks wrapped with bath towels "

"Great onsen onsite and a traditional tatami experience. Guests are required to take your shoes off when you arrive at the hotel which adds to the hominess of the stay"
