Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge

Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge

8/10 Good
"Having stayed a good few times at work, I was pleased to see the addition of the self check-in system, which we used. Unfortunately, two of the keys (out of three) didn't work, and therefore we spent a fair bit of time sorting this out. A great idea - might need better instructions or to check it's working 100% of the time."

"We had a fabulous stay at the Strand Palace. We did leave some valuables behind though. We called immediately and they were able to find and hold for us till our return 10 days later. We appreciated the confirmation email they provided it calmed our concerns we had so we were able to enjoy the remainder of our travels. Thank you so much to The Strand Palace!"

"We had breakfast in the hotel and I have stayed in many 4/5* hotels and to be honest I was disappointed in the quality for the price. It’s all pre cooked and kept in bainmary so in general all overcooked. Not what you expect in this standard hotel."

Sea Containers London

Sea Containers London

10/10 Excellent
"We just finished a 6-night stay at Sea Containers London and thoroughly enjoyed it, with just a few minor quirks worth mentioning. First, the good: this is a very nice hotel in the heart of central London, right on the River Thames, with walking distance to shops, restaurants, a museum, the London Eye, theaters, a comedy club, and public transportation. The staff were very accommodating, and the rooms were modern and clean. A few small quirks: we had to request ice and face cloths daily rather than having them replenished automatically (perhaps a cultural difference), and the bed was quite firm for our taste. The biggest miss was that breakfast was actually included in our reservation, and since we'd booked weeks in advance, we completely forgot — a simple reminder at check-in would have been a nice touch. Even on the two days we did make it down for breakfast, the lines were quite long. We also weren't able to enjoy Happy Hour Lyaness bar or the roof top, as it was closed for private events during our stay. Overall, a lovely stay with great location and service, minor hiccups aside."
