"Hotel staff were very efficient and helpful, the site has ocean view with 2 pools and across street rooms on hill with 2 beautiful pools , one with fountains and bar and plenty of room for sun bathers as well as shade. "

"Beautiful property with rooms interspersed within the natural flora of the area. We spotted multiple monkeys within the trees during our stay. Our room was spacious and very clean, with great air conditioning and hot water. There were a few bugs in the room throughout the stay, but this is a trade-off for being in such a natural setting. Similarly, the pool tended to have natural debris on the surface and could be skimmed more frequently, but was still enjoyable. The hotel is just steps from the beach and there is a complimentary cocktail every night at sunset. I got the signature 90 minute holistic massage which was incredibly relaxing. The hotel is a short drive or a 15 minute walk into town, so the location was great to be away from the noise but still accessible. "

"This place was amazing!! So beautiful and a little bit of everything. Large pool. Amazing waves for surfing. Japanese and Italian restaurants (additional charges). Endless drinks, food including snacks, music, and fun. Grounds were well maintained, and the staff was very friendly. "

"The staff at Hotel Capitán Suizo was beyond outstanding. The care they impart on their guests, the grounds and their hotel is excellent. The grounds are breathtaking and as a small boutique hotel, it is a quiet refuge located at the very end of the busy Tamarindo strip. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants privacy yet access to everything and anything that touristy Tamarindo has to offer. We'll be back. "
