I had a great stay,I booked the unit a day before my arrival and once booked I received all the check in info immediately, no key was needed all acess is through a keypad system which is nice.The unit was very spacious and cozy,I really liked the kitchen set-up,Carlisle is a wonderful city and fun to explore and the apartment was only a 5 minute walk to the train station.

Really lovely B & B just a few minutes walk into the centre which had plenty of independent shops, cafes and restaurants It’s also near the Orrest Head walk with spectacular views. We ate at Tapios one night for delicious tapas and highly recommended them. Our second night we ate at The Pig ( name changed to Tilly’s ) and had their Cajun chicken burger… yummy! Great service, location, care for guests, phenomenal food. One of the best dinners I have ever had,. And the co-owner carried boih of our heavy bags up the steep stairs for us.

The room was fantastic! Very comfortable, spacious and surrounded by greenery. They don’t have onsite front desk, so it can make late requests a little challenging. Give time for their WhatsApp communication, it’s not very expedient. They are very accommodating, however, and overall we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. However, the screaming drunk youth in the streets outside the hotel could be heard into the early hours of the morning, which meant it was hard to sleep.

This old manor home has been a hotel for a long time and it has a certain old world feel. But it's well-managed, comfortable, and the setting is fantastic. We had long walks on the beachfront (it's a unique sandy waterway), blustery rain, and a lovely walk into town for a nice dinner. Don't miss sitting in the lounge/library with a good book looking out over the front lawn. I would love to spend a week here with rainy days and big thick books to read.

What a pleasant stay. The property is a short walk from the train station; go out, turn left and keep left until you see the building. The housekeeper is very kind and accommodating. The city’s ocean front is comfortable with benches and picnic tables, plus walkable beach reaches. If you enjoy watching happy dogs, this place will make your smile extreme (yes, I love dogs). I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!
