"I was expecting a little more to be honest for the price. So much competition in Birmingham, this hotel is beginning to show its age in places. Check in was super efficient. Asked for a high level room for the views, we were on 17 out of 24. There is a typo in all of the lifts. The rooms were basic but had everything we needed. The bed was sooo comfy. "Parking was underground, which was great as it was chucking it down! Straight out of the car into lift up to reception, very friendly and smiley staff greeted us. Check in was super quick and off we went to our room. Room was great, twin room with plenty of space, clean and tidy with little delights of posh coffee and bottled water. "Stayed 1 night in a newly refurbished room. Was excellent - just as you would hope from a Crowne Plaza. We had a drink and some chips in the bar, which was busy but well-staffed. We parked in a nearby multistorey (3 mins walk) but you can actually park at the hotel as well. No complaints at all."
