"We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome by a lovely male receptionist, he was very helpful and reassuring too when a incident occurred, which was not the hotel's fault. The hotel itself was very clean and so was our hotel room. Our hotel room had a bath too which was a lovely suprise, the beds were warm and comfy. I honestly would stay there again and recommend to friends too. The only thing the hotel doesn't have a lift so it made it awkward going upstairs and downstairs with suitcases and a pram however the male receptionist did carry our luggage upstairs for us."

"Stayed here quite a few times and always happy there. Easy parking, friendly staff and clean fairly well equipped rooms. Easily on par with premier inn if not better."

"Staff are warm welcoming and friendly. Food is great especially the full english breakfast. Rooms are clean beds are really comfy. Its a 17th century building with all the quirks you would expect. There is a huge beer garden and parking in a nice village location"

"Lovely stay - check in wasn’t great and lacked detail and first day of breakfast wasn’t good missing granola options and anyone to request eggs but Hilton messaged to ask how my stay was going and breakfast was rectified for the following days. They even sorted out my Hilton membership reward that had been missed at check in. That extra touch made a huge difference and alongside a great room, lovely service at the bar in the evening and gym and pool facilities I was really happy."
