"My family and I had a great time at this resort! The resort was well-maintained, beautiful, and a good value. The rooms were clean, but the bathrooms were a bit dated. I think the showers could use an update. But, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was DELICIOUS. The beach was not the cleanest (due to the water and seaweed, not due to people’s waste), but the pool was beautiful. Would visit again! "

"Loved that only guests with cards are able to access the building, no children running in the halls since it's adult only. Very clean, very beautiful. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Walking distance to EVERYTHING!"

"The initial room we were given when we checked in late in the day, wasn't great. It was rather small, felt unkept and the bathroom had water pressure issues. When we brought up the issues to the management, they were happy to make the switch the next day and gave us the free upgrade to a suite. Which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Laura- one of the manager was very accomodating and all the hotel staffs were helpful and friendly. Acanto felt like home during our stay! "

"This boutique hotel is in a prime location, and walkable to all you need- yet tucked away from Quinta Avenida - 5th ave. The staff was great!! Mariana at the reception was very helpful and the security at night made the space feel safe and welcoming. The rooms were as described, clean and it was nice to have the balcony area with hamock. The pool has specific times, so no early morning or night swims. Mexico is currently challenged with sargassum at all the beaches, including the beachfront of the hotel. There is no parking on site, although you can park on the street. I recommend downloading the app and you can add funds as needed. Paid parking is from 10am to 10pm. The street parking ia strictly enforced. So make sure and pay for parking! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return and also recommended. "

"Our family of 5 had a great time. The property was gorgeous and the staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the pools and the jacuzzi. It was very close to the main drag where there were shops and restaurants. Mamitas beach was just a 10-15 walk away. We’re definitely coming back. "
