Chalets in Province of Florence

"I spent 3 nights at the c-hotels Ambasicatori while visiting Florence to see the MotoGP event in Mugello. The hotel is right next to the train station, which makes it pretty convenient to everything in Florence. City is small and walkable. Checking was nice and staff let me check in early as i was traveling from the US. I got a room with a nice balcony overlooking the main train station. The area is active and noisy. This is not anything to do with the hotel. The room is quiet considering the activity in the area. Staff was pleasant and helpful for all my questions. I had a drink at the bar and breakfast one day. Both were good experiences. Thanks for a good stay!"

"We loved the hotel and we loved Florence. The front desk staff was phenomenal and so helpful. They were very friendly. The breakfast every morning was delightful. We had to leave early in the morning before breakfast was open and they had a breakfast bag for us for our travels. So thoughtful! I highly recommend this hotel."

"The location was perfect and a few minutes to the main attractions and city center. Barbara, the concierge, was amazing and extremely helpful. Angela was very kind at the front desk as well. "

"I would stay at this hotel again. The location is very close to the train station and although it is very busy, you are close to the city center. However, slightly far from the Arno river and Ponte Vecchio bridge so be prepared to walk about 15 minutes. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good and a reasonable price for the area."

"La Scalette is a beautiful hotel in Florence. Its location is perfect. You’re within walking distance of amazing shopping, restaurants, the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, etc. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star, was the accessibility and mobility within the hotel itself. Even if you take the tiny elevator to your floor, you might have another set of stairs just to get to your room. After a long day of sight seeing in the heat, the last thing you want is to return it to your hotel and have to take 3 to 4 flights of stairs just to get to your room if the elevator is not available. I would also say I found the in-house restaurant very costly. But even with that, it was a lovely stay. "
