"A beautiful properly. We had a room with an onsen on our deck, it was supposed to have a lakeview but trees are all grown in and blocking. This place feels remote but there is a bus stop station close and the pirate ship/ cable cars. No stores or restaurants close by but we really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets."

"Traveled with my gf and had a terrific time. The futons were amazing to sleep on, the onsen hot and the service pleasant. The experience of wearing yukatas to the breakfast and onsen was something else to say the least. Would recommend! "

"Excellent customer service, good food, nice French and Japanese meals provided daily during stay. Hotel is dated and need some facelift. Love the 3 on-site Onsens, saw an amazing sunrise on last day at hotel. Would come back to Hotel New Akao if going to Atami again. "
